The Music of Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick

The music of Burt Bacharach is a wide ranging and interesting set of compositions, many of which have found their way into the jazz standard repertoire. Mostly performed by Dionne Warwick, these great songs are being presented in a new project devised with Di Bird. Di is a great jazz singer, and has more recently been also involved in the long running and highly successful show “A Tapestry of Fire and Rain” which features the music of Carole King and James Taylor.

This new band comprises Di Bird on vocals, Michael Bartolomei on piano, Cameron Reid on Drums, Craig Walters on Sax, Jane Yates on backing vocals and Craig Scott on bass, and as Musical Director.
